Does the Pro Dash work with Terminator X?

Yes. Holley's Pro Dash supports Terminator X and Terminator X Max, in both the 12.3 and 6.86 inch sizes. It connects to the ECU and reads engine data straight from it, so you don't need separate senders for things the ECU already knows.

The first time you connect it, the dash recognizes the Terminator X and offers to load a set of screens made for it. Say yes and you'll have working gauges right away.

What a Terminator X can show on the dash

Anything the ECU measures can go on a gauge. The ones most people want:

• Engine RPM and speed (from GPS or the transmission)
• Coolant and air temperature
• Air/fuel ratio and target air/fuel
• Ignition timing and throttle position
• Manifold pressure and boost
• Battery voltage

Oil pressure, fuel pressure and fuel level need a sensor wired in, either to the ECU or to one of the Pro Dash's own inputs. Once it's wired, it shows up like any other reading.

Why customize the stock Terminator X screens?

The stock screens work, but they look like everybody else's. They also weren't made for your build. A street truck, a boosted drag car and a cruiser all want different gauges up front.

• Street and cruise: big speedometer and tach, with coolant, oil, volts and fuel level around them.
• Boosted builds: boost and vacuum, air/fuel and oil pressure where you can see them at a glance.
• Drag cars: a shift light bar across the top, big digital RPM, and warning lights for oil and water.

Build a Terminator X layout in Gauge Garage
